Bollywood Shenshah Amitabh Bachchan has overtaken Salman Khan in terms of remuneration as highest paid TV host. The veteran actor and legend has been hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati from past two decades and he is back for season 17. For this season, he is charging Rs.5 crores per episode.

Similarly, Salman Khan is also charging Rs.5 crores per episode for Bigg Boss Season 19. But he signed on for just 15 weeks as he would busy with his film shoot. So, he is taking only Rs.150 crores with 2 episodes per week for this season. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan will be drawing Rs.25 crores per week.

Well, Bigg Boss has been the most watched non-fiction TV show after KBC and hence, the draw is huge for it even in other languages. King Nagarjuna is charging Rs.30 crores for the next season to host and Mohanlal is getting Rs.24 crore for Bigg Boss Malayalam.

Shockingly, for Tamil version, Kamal Haasan took Rs.130 crores for his final season while Vijay Sethupathi is signed in for Rs.60 crores. These remunerations make the top legendary stars of Indian Cinema as highest paid TV hosts.
